How do you know Tiger wasn’t happy? Perhaps chasing tail and an assortment of women IS what makes him happy?
Maybe it was only the getting caught and getting exposed that has made him unhappy.

compulsive tail-chasing seems to be an indicator of 1) “I can get away with it” and 2) “I’m not contented in myself” – basically a form of running away from something, life, self, something… Just my observation.
